International Architectures day
Since 1985, the International Association of Architects has traditionally celebrated World Architecture Day under a specific theme. This year it is on October 4th.
On the occasion of this anniversary, I would like to extend my greetings on World Architecture Day to all of Mongolia's construction and urban development professionals and generations of architects.
This year, under the theme “Clean environment for a healthy world”, we will introduce and promote our work on three main issues: housing, public roads, and climate change. Architects around the world are uniting their voices in the implementation of the “Development Goal 2030”.
The Ministry of Construction and Urban Development is committed to ensuring the balanced development of urban and rural areas, decentralizing the capital city, establishing satellite cities, and improving the legal environment of the sector. Develop a revised draft, “General Plan for Population and Settlement Development of Mongolia” and “General Development Plan of Ulaanbaatar until 2040” for discussion and approval by the State Great Hural, and establish new cities “Shine Zuunmod” and “Maidar” in Khushig valley of Tuv aimag. Planning and construction in stages, and implementing “Soum Development and Engineering Infrastructure Supply” projects and activities.
In addition, the “Zaluus 1” apartment district development project aimed at developing new residential areas in Ulaanbaatar and providing citizens with affordable housing has been initiated, and a complex of energy-efficient apartment districts with social infrastructure buildings, facilities, jobs and service facilities has been established. has started.
We wish you, the elders who have left their mark on the 65-year history of Mongolia's construction and architectural development, and the architects who are creating their works today, to create a world-competitive, modern urbanization, construction and development that combines tradition and innovation!
